Nicole (foto: Laura Lombardi, Amsterdam)Nicole van Bruggen is a specialist historical clarinettist and plays in numerous orchestras and chamber music ensembles in the European Early Music scene. Alongside her talents as a performing musician, Nicole is an efficient business woman and her abilities in this field are being increasingly recognised by her music colleagues. Nicole worked for the New Dutch Academy from its early days in 2001. During the first four years of this orchestra, she worked in a managerial position and obtained much experience both within The Netherlands and internationally. She functioned as advisor during the foundation of the Holland Baroque Society and was closely involved with the orchestra's finances during its initial year. Nicole is currently working on a freelance basis for various Dutch ensembles in the field of subsidy applications and is the manager of The Amsterdam String Quartet, Trio Van Hengel and Kwartet André. Marnix van BruggenMarnix van Bruggen started playing piano at the age of 15 and quickly became involved with numerous pop and jazz bands. He has performed successfully on many Dutch jazz podiums. Marnix also regularly does studio work with various partners composing and creating jingles for television and websites. Two of Marnix's bands are represented by Resonance Music Management; DeJaVu | Acoustic Jazz Lounge Group and Jazz Duo Judith & Marnix. Alongside his work as pianist, Marnix has designed and built many internet sites and is currently webmaster of seven domains.
